It sounds too good to be true: a non-surgical treatment that “freezes” away fat. Clients often want to know, “Does it really work?” I’m here to confirm that yes, it does!

The science behind the treatment

CoolSculpting is an FDA-approved, non-surgical procedure that works by using a technique called cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis is a specialized body contouring treatment used to reduce fat cell volume by targeting and freezing pockets of fat under the skin. The method involves controlled application of cooling within the temperature range of +5 to -11 °C for the localized reduction of fat deposits, intending to reshape the contours of the body. The fat cells effectively die off and the body is able to eliminate the dead cells through natural processing.

Am I a good candidate for Coolsculpting?

An ideal candidate should be within 10 pounds of their goal weight with areas of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. These areas include the abdomen, “love handles,” bra fat, sub-mental fat (double chin), and both outer and inner thighs. Coolsculpting is not meant to be a weight loss solution.

How soon will I see results?

Results can be seen as early as three weeks following the procedure, and will continue to improve over the first three months. The winter months are a great time to schedule this procedure so you look and feel your best when warmer weather starts.
