Complements Trend 101: Long Lashes

04/27/17

Long, flirty lashes – I don’t think this trend is ever going to fade. Long lashes are the holy grail of beauty, offering instant glamour and wide-eyed youth. Some are blessed with them and some, well, are luckily growing them! A sweep of a product offered at Mount Nittany Physician Group Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery can give your lashes a helping hand to look as long, full and luscious as possible. Let’s talk Latisse®.

Latisse is the only prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough lashes that is approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to grow your lashes. With regular applications along the lash line of the upper eyelid, Latisse gradually encourages growth of longer, thicker and darker eyelashes. Latisse is not meant to be applied to the lower eyelid. For full results, you must use the medication daily for at least two months. Eyelash improvements remain as long as you continue to use the medication. When you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will eventually return to their original appearance.

If you are interested in learning more about Latisse, schedule a consultation with Emily Peterson, MD, Mount Nittany Physician Group Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery, to make sure you are an ideal candidate for Latisse and to discuss application.
